I had action transmission specificly JOE COOK brag up and sell me a built 48re transmission for my dodge cummins. I told him what I was going to do with the truck and the power and torque I wanted to achieve. He was so confident in his build and told me he would guarantee the build he quoted me for to hold 1000 HP and 1500 ft lb torque and gave me a 3 year unlimited mileage warranty. Needless to say after a few months with the transmission it kept heating up while towing, he told me I needed to change my transmission cooler so I did, same thing heating up towing so I called again and kept getting told I will melt my truck before I break his transmission, this was also told to me when I dropped the transmission off and they built it in less than 4 hours, me and my wife were concerned and asked about the parts and we were told to try and break his transmission that we wont. Needless to say 2 years in warranty and the transmission went out in 2nd gear, funny thats why I took it in in the first place. Now I get told its not under warranty that my flex plate is flexing too much and his builder said I ran it low on oil and that the flex plate is flexing to much and took out the pump seal. We paid for billet input and output shafts only got an input shaft, stock clutches with a quad lock converter. These guys are crooks and tell you what you want until they get cash in hand then lie to you and say they will take care of it then call you wanting 3500.00 to repair it because you dont have the right upgrades. Bear in mind I was guaranteed for 1000 hp 1500 ft lbs torque I blew it at 600 HP and 1100 lbs of torque
